2nd term work.

The sorting clothes game

12/2/2020:
we were talking about if we should modify or not the group  because some members of the group don't have a good level of English and that have affected us in the last exposition. Finally we have decided to keep the same group because changing the groups would affect all our classmates who already had a group.

Weekend (15-16)/2/2020:
We were talking about what game we could do. We thought about doing a domino, but with some changes like each pupil being an domino token or using some drawings instead of numbers.

18/2/2020:
We asked the teacher about the game, and she made us some suggestions about what type of game we should elaborate.
With that suggestions we decided to change the game and make a classification game where the children have to decide if a item of clothing is used in summer or winter.
We started to elaborate the material.
29/2/2020:
We almost finished the materials so we created a document in Google drive so we all could write on it.

We finalized the document, which was already almost done at that time.

Christmas


To this work choosing the activity that we were going to do took some time becaus None of us had a clear idea, so we made a brainstorming and the ideas we had were used to create an activity.

In the activity each child had to choose from the table a picture which was upside down and colour it. Then they had to take a paper from a bag without looking. The paper has a colour which matches with a present box, so they had to follow a path that ends in the box, after that they have to open it and compare the picture that is inside the box with their own ones. If they Mach they win a prize, if not they have to wait until their next turn.

Halloween


We had to make an activity to work the Halloween vocabulary.
Roxana and me decided to develop the activity "who"but with masks.
For that purpose we searched some masks models and we found those models.

We also decided to eliminate the Frankenstein's monster and include a pumpkin instead because we thought it would be easier and because the pumpkin it's more significant.

 We divided  the work. We bought participated in everything but Roxana did the most important part of the masks creation meanwhile I wrote the majority of the document.

The emotions


For the first work of the subject we had to make an activity to conwork the emotions vocabulary with the kids. For that we made a poster with emotions to reflect the vocabulary, which we decided it would be related with the confusion.
With the poster we could be able to teach them the different terms.
We also made a simple puzzle where they could Mach the word with a picture that reflects the emotion, with that the children could use their knowledge and practice it.
We decided to develop the activity after the playground time because the children would be  more relaxed and would pay attention.
